STARTALK Russian Instructors
The Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (REEES) is seeking 2 experienced and passionate Russian Language Instructors for the 2025 STARTALK Residential Summer Program. This exciting opportunity will take place from June 23 to July 12, 2025, on the University of Pittsburgh’s vibrant campus in Pittsburgh, PA, and offers college students the chance to enhance their Russian language skills at the Intermediate High to Advanced Low proficiency levels. Note: while the program takes place June 23 to July 12, 2025, the contract dates for this position are May 1 to August 31, 2025 to allow time for preparation, collaboration with the Program Director, and post-program grade reporting. Assistant Director for Academic Affairs
The Asian Studies Center (ASC) is seeking an Assistant Director of Academic Affairs to oversee academic advising, manage the FLAS grant program, and contribute to student recruitment. Additional responsibilities include handling faculty and student funding competitions, developing advising policies, and collaborating with campus units. Engagement Coordinator
The Asian Studies Center (ASC) is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to develop and execute comprehensive community engagement plans, collaborate with staff and external partners, and maintain a presence at key community events. The incumbent will also support outreach initiatives tied to the National Resource Center (NRC) grant and help build lasting relationships across various stakeholders. The European Studies Center (ESC) is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Student Ambassador to help promote our exciting academic programs. Please note, enrollment in the European Studies Center certificate program is required for this role.
